Contrary to what many outside of the faith suggests, the life of a believer isn’t one for the faint of heart. Just because we proclaim Jesus as our Savior doesn’t exempt us from everyday struggles. Our spirits reconnected back to God at Salvation, but our soul is in transition; however, our flesh isn't as fortunate. What does that mean? It means that we will always be at war. War with who we were and would we desire to be!
The apostle Paul informs us of this war, stating that every time he attempted to do good, he would do evil. Think about it; how can you escape something that’s inside of you? However, Paul doesn’t leave us hopeless. What separates us from the world is we have a “problem solver” we can call on in times of trouble. The answer is Jesus, who gives us the power to overcome whatever is coming against us. Today let's exercise power given to us to win the “War Within.” Call on the name of JESUS! #BeEncouraged #TheWarWithin
