An obstacle refers to something that interferes with or prevents action or progress. In the case of the scripture today, the man’s obstacle was his blindness. It's something this man dealt with from birth. My question to the text is, why would God allow the problem to persist so long in his life? I believe God needed those man to build a reputation of having this problem, so when Jesus healed him those that knew of his situation, would now know of his God!
I’m sure if you have breath in your body today, you also have an obstacle to go right along with it. This obstacle seems as if it’s never going to change, but there is good news for you. This obstacle is only an opportunity for God to showcase his sovereignty in your life. He let it last so long, not to torment you, but to let you and others see that there is nothing too hard for God. #ObstacleorOpportunity
