The sport of boxing is called the “hurt business,” where participants get paid to see who can inflict the most pain on their opponent. Upon each fight's beginning, a referee repeats words of instruction vital to each boxer’s survival. These words are, “Protect yourself at all times.” If one lets his guard down for one moment, their opponent will ultimately take advantage and end the fight quickly.
In the case of Adam and Eve, their job was the same as ours today. They were to protect their thought life from the attack of the enemy. However, they allowed the devil to convince them to believe a lie, leading them to destruction. What lies has the enemy been speaking to you this morning? It’s important to note, the recording that you allow to play in your mind will eventually dictate your reality.
