“From Prayer to Praise”

“Peter finally came to his senses. “It’s really true!” he said. “The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me!” When he realized this, he went to the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many were gathered for prayer. He knocked at the door in the gate, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to open it. When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the door, she ran back inside and told everyone, “Peter is standing at the door!”

‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭12:11-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Hey FCC Family!!!

Prayer is a quintessential necessity for our Christian walk. It keeps us connected with our Heavenly Father and is attacked heavily by the devil for that reason. As believers, typically, over the days, months, and years we tend to acquire a list of requests to petition God consistently. However, there is also a point when those prayer requests become prayer reports.

In today’s scripture, Peter is captured by King Herod, who planned to put him on trial in the morning, but the saints of God began to pray. God honored their petition and sent an angel with the answer. The group of believers that gathered in prayer before God transition to praise when Peter knocked at their door. The Bible says that we must continue to knock, and the door will be opened to you. It’s not if God will answer, but if we will continue to knock. Our praise report is imminent if our prayer life remains consistent. #BeEncouraged #FromPrayer2Praise

God Bless You and Have a Prosperous Day!
