Every Member Matters

Updated: Jan 13, 2021

Am I my brother/sister's keeper? Yes we are! Rom. 12:5, ''In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.'' (NIV) When we think of membership in a church, we think about having your name in a record book or paying tithes and offering, but membership involves so much more. We are a body of believers and each of us have a vital role to play in sustaining a church. A body requires connection to various parts and in order for the body to work properly, it requires a mouth, an arm, and a leg. There are no non-essential portions of a body. When any portion of the body does not function properly, we have a malfunction and our overall purpose will fail. Have you checked on your fellow members today? Maybe a phone call, or send a note of encouragement, or a text message as a check-up. We are a family and every family member is essential in the Body of Christ. We are all important and yes every member matters!
